Byzantine Gospel of John

Textus Receptus Revelation

I have completed and uploaded editions of the Revelation of John based on the Robinson-Pierpont Greek text, and also another one based on the Textus Receptus.  In addition, my previous eclectic edition of Revelation has added to it many more footnotes.  There are now 508 footnotes in these editions, showing the textual variants, and the ancient witness support for each.

Robinson-Pierpont PDF updated

Due to feedback from the downloading public, I have scrapped the pdf I was offering of the Robinson-Pierpont Greek New Testament, and re-compiled a pdf from a Unicode text document which I obtained directly from Dr. Maurice Robinson.  You can download that here.  Note: there will be a table on contents in a column to the left in the pdf, in which you can click on the book names to go directly to that like an Internet link.  However, if you are viewing the document in your browser, the table will not show up.  You have to right-click the link, choose “save as,” and download it to your hard drive.  Then, after that, when you open the document, the links will show up.

Robinson-Pierpont Greek Text of the New Testament, Byzantine text form

Now available for download by right-clicking here or going to the long list on my translations page: Robinson, Maurice A., and Pierpont, William G.: The New Testament in the Original Greek, Byzantine Textform. 2018 Edition; PDF, 13 MB. This is a free download of a single pdf. (A stripped down edition without variants or Appendix is available also, a 9 MB pdf.) This Robinson-Pierpont 2018 edition of the Greek New Testament attempts to represent the Byzantine text form archetype. This is not the same approach to textual criticism as, for example, the Hodges-Farstad Majority Text approach.  Also included in this document is the Appendix, entitled, “The Case for Byzantine Priority” by Maurice A. Robinson, PhD.

I have also uploaded editions of some of my Greek-English documents, but with the Robinson-Pierpont Greek text, and the English translation thereof.  You can download them right here as well.  Completed are: Gospel of Luke, Gospel of John, The General Epistles and Revelation.
